Individual therapy can be the most important personal work you will ever do. If you are experiencing emotional pain or distress, you are one the right web page. I am passionate about helping people move from emotional pain or distress to a sense of well-being. I provide a safe and supportive place for your therapy experience. Therapy can be the place for you to begin the process of feeling better and learn new ways to cope with emotional disturbance. I offer a wide variety of treatment approaches so your treatment will be tailored specifically for you. I would be honored to work with you and support you on your journey towards emotional health and well-being.

Therapy Approach

My therapy approach is person-centered, emotion-focused and attachment based. That means I will be attuned to you, helping you increase awareness and insight while honoring your sense of self-determination. YOU are the most important person in the room! I use diverse approaches for therapy because each person and circumstance is unique. Your therapy will be uniquely designed for you.

I care about providing quality therapy so I have completed additional training that is “above and beyond” the standard requirements for MFT licensure. For individuals, I offer psychotherapy including EMDR therapy and EFT therapy. (I also offer EFT couple therapy. Read more about EFT Couple therapy here.)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy for the treatment of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). It can be helpful for many conditions including, panic attacks, disturbing memories, sexual and/or physical abuse, addictions, performance anxiety, stress reduction, and more. Read more about EMDR here.

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT) is a unique evidence-based therapy, based on methods designed to help people accept, express, regulate, make sense of and transform emotion. EFT approach focuses on the development of emotional intelligence and on the importance of secure relationships.
